A fine Pyromorphite specimen from the classic USA location of the Wheatley mine at Phoenixville in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Beautiful and lustrous, rich green Pyromorphite crystals form a particularly dense coverage on small areas of matrix, with several cavities lined with well-formed crystals. Pyromorphite crystals, which measure to 8 mm, include many with slightly curved prism faces and hoppered development. It's a splendid Wheatley Pyromorphite.
