From Tsumeb mine in Namibia, a most attractive miniature of lustrous dark royal blue bladed-prismatic Azurite crystals emerging from a matrix of pale candy-pink rhombic Dolomite crystals. The Azurite crystals form a V-like configuration of slender gemmy crystals to 1.7 cm tall. Smaller glassy Azurite crystals are scattered at various orientations over other areas of the Dolomite. A typical of fine Azurite from Tsumeb, the crystals do tend to appear as almost black or very dark blue. However, when back lit the transmitted light is a stunning electric blue. A most pretty and showy Tsumeb miniature.
