Lustrous dark inky blue Azurite crystals, some to over 1 cm long, form a flat crystallised plate over and around a core of leaf green Malachite developed as dense acicular rosettes. This lovely miniature is from the Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia and when held again strong light, many patches transmit a stunning translucent electric blue.
