A beautiful small miniature of intensely deep purple Fluorite crystals which fold around a small cluster of milky Quartz crystals, one of which is terminated. From the C'novec/Zinnwald ore field that straddles Saxony in Germany and the 'st' Region (Bohemia) in the Czech Republic, the Fluorite is so dark and opaque it appears jet-black and even when viewed close to and in strong light, the colour only hints its true deep purple. The Fluorite forms stacked, composite cubic crystals that are intergrown at differing angles, so creating an attractive curved array over the Quartz.
