Well-developed, sea-green Height's mine Fluorite crystals measuring to 4 cm on edge are intergrown with two Galena crystals on a druse of micro-crystalline Quartz, coating an ironstone matrix. Heights mine lies north-east of the village of Westgate and is immediately adjacent to the still highly active Heights quarry. Operated by Agg-Net, the quarry in now infringing on the old mine working and it is likely most of the underground section will be consumed. The Fluorite crystals are colourless to translucent and opaque with some stepped habit development. The Fluorite prisms tend to have darker and more translucent edges and corners while their faces are mottled sage and peppermint green. In direct daylight the prisms display mild and weak fluorescent teal blue yet under LWUV are a bright and uniform creamy-lavender with whiter edges and corners.
