A fine cluster of deep bottle-green Tourmaline crystals with minor white Cleavelandite blades, a variety of Albite, from Barra do Salinas in the Jequitinhonha Valley of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The predominant crystal measures 4.5 x 2 x 1.4 cm, has a bright glassy lustre and an accentuated, steep pyramidal termination. The Tourmaline around the base is a lighter, limey-green with a deep silky lustre. An interesting Tourmaline from Barra do Salinas, Brazil.
