An excellent single crystal of bicoloured gemmy-translucent Elbaite Tourmaline from Paprok, Afghanistan. The substantial crystal of lustrous Elbaite measures to 7.2cm tall with a fine three faced termination and typical striated prism faces, and some parallel growth apparent. A fine colour with a pink colour to half of the crystal passing upward to green with a pink termination. A fine crystal of Elbaite from the area.
