Lustrous deep royal blue crystals of Azurite form a rich cluster of crystals over an area of 4cm x 2.7cm, individual crystals measuring to 1.1cm, further cluster are also on the specimen. Crystals of Azurite have formed on a velvety green crystallized Malachite, over inter grown white rhombic crystals of Calcite. A pleasing specimen from the mine.
