Three well-formed prismatic crystals of lustrous black Schorl stand upright on and through a small cabinet-sized matrix of Quartz crystals and white platey intergrown cockscombs of Albite from Shengus, Pakistan. The crystals of Schorl, which reach 8.4 cm in length, display deeply striated sides to their prism faces, with pronounced three faced sloping terminations.
