The main entrance to Cambokeels mine lies adjacent to the A689 and is situated about midway between Hights quarry to the north and Eastgate quarry to the south. The mine needs no introduction for its magnificent Fluorite specimens, yet in this large cabinet specimen the Fluorite plays second fiddle to the encrusting layer of excellent milky Quartz crystals. Two large underlying elongated cubic Fluorite crystals to about 11 and 8 cm long are almost entirely masked by stubby, lustrous glassy Quartz crystals averaging 1 to 1.5 cm and often double terminated.
