A tangled bird's nest of bright silver to tarnished sooty black Native Silver from the Balcoll mine at Falset, in Catalonia, Spain. This extremely rich specimen is almost entirely composed of Native Silver around a small, etched, snow-white core of Calcite. The Silver wires stand well proud of the matrix and are loosely, but strongly wrapped all around the specimen. A superb and beautiful Native Silver from the Balcoll mine, with fascinating crystallised structures at low magnification.
