This lovely prismatic Fluorapatite crystal is known to be from Norway, but a more specific location is not known. Given some time and effort, it is likely at least a region or district might be homed in on, adding further provenance to this great little miniature. The Fluorapatite crystal measures 6 mm long by 5 mm diameter and is a double terminated stubby prism of bicoloured light grey and light fawn, with a sharp division in colour across its mid-point. One entire termination stands proud of the matrix whereas the opposite termination is mainly still embedded. The prism has vertically striated prism faces and smooth pinacoidal terminations. A great Fluorapatite from Norway.
