Of all the Native Silver localities in the world, Kongsberg in Norway is probably the first which comes to mind. The inclusion of a Kongsberg Silver in any collection is an object of pride, so this choice small miniature will make a great addition for someone. Crystalline Native Silver almost entirely envelopes a greyish cream block of Calcite and forming chains of granular textured clusters and crude arborescent branches. The Native Silver adopts a patina of rose gold although many silver-coloured crystalline areas are present. This is a rich and aesthetic specimen of Native Silver from the Kongsberg silver mining district in Buskerud, Norway.
