Baryte (Section)$150.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A lovely pseudo-stalactitic Baryte sawn section from one of the mines on Dirtlow Rake, just south and SW of Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The circular section has been polished to a low gloss, allowing the internal structure to be shown to good effect. The Baryte grows in concentric bands of ivory and porcelain white, pale blue-grey, tan, buff and light chocolate brown. A terrific specimen.
