Tucson, Arizona, USAChoice well formed crystals of Cerussite are associated with Smithsonite from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Crystals of Cerussite measuring to around 1cm are seen to be mostly of twinned habit, with a lustrous translucent light tan colour. Inclusions of reddish Goethite are apparent in the Cerussite crystals. Silky lustre white crystal druse of Smithsonite partly covers the Cerussite crystals. An earlier deposition of banded green Smithsonite has covered the top surface of a partly vugy dense grey Dolomite matrix. A fine Cerussite/Smithsonite specimen from the mine.
