New find of rich indigo blue to light blue complex crystals of Fluorite on Quartz, from the Huanggang Mine (Shaft 4), Banner, Mongolia. Inter grown crystals of Fluorite abundantly form on well developed prismatic crystals of Quartz. The lustrous Fluorite crystals measuring to 0.8cm show excellent form of some hopper habit on the cubic faces, with complex combinations of the Dodecahedral and Octahedral faces, giving the edges a rounded aspect. Crystals of Quartz measuring to 7cm tall show several phases of deposition. Very fine specimen and uncommon deep colour for Fluorite from the new find.
