A heavy domed mound of leaf-green Bayldonite has its upper display surface strewn with small bladed Azurite crystals, with many to about 9 x 2 x 1 mm. A dark grey Dolomite forms the core of the specimen, but only small patches of this are visible where the Bayldonite is not present. A striking contrast is provided between the lustrous Azurite and matt, earthy Bayldonite, the latter varying in colour from light olive-green, through leaf and pistachio to lime-green.
