Cream to light brown and tan Mimetite crystals are richly aggregated and scattered over a flat plate of Quartz matrix from Wheal Unity at St. Day in Cornwall. Wheal Unity worked the same lode as Wheal Gorland and is associated with a similar suite of minerals, including Mimetite. The Mimetite forms as acicular prismatic crystals measuring to 6 mm, which are visually enhanced set against pale peppermint green areas of Brochantite.
