Tucson, Arizona, USAThis is an exceptionally rich specimen of Linarite from the famous Tsumeb mine, Namibia. A densely intergrown druse of bladed light to mid blue Linarite crystals measuring to 4 mm mostly covers the display face of the specimen, over a very large miniature matrix of mixed Malachite and Cerussite/'Limonite'. Most of the best Linarite found at Tsumeb occurred in the 1st Oxidation Zone and so was collected during the 1920s or earlier. This is one of the richest Linarite specimens we have had the pleasure of handling.
