A choice large thumbnail specimen of Malachite pseudomorphing after Azurite forming a 2.0 x 0.9 x 0.4 cm sharply defined crystal, perched on top of a matrix of colourful and well micro-crystallised green arsenates. The Malachite pseudomorph has a surface texture and lustre of brushed silk in various shades of emerald green. The specimen is attached to a labelled square acrylic base and is from the collection of a famous Tsumeb collector.
