A choice and charming thumbnail of lilac Fluorapatite crystals from near the town of Ehrenfriedersdorf in the district of Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany, the type locality of Fluorapatite. Fluorapatite forms hexagonal, squat crystals of up to 7 mm long by about 5 mm diameter with heavily striated prism faces and flat, highly reflective pinacoid terminations. Over a dozen intergrown crystals sit on top of a small matrix of colourless to milky Quartz.
