Crystal ClassicsFeatured
Tucson, Arizona, USAA very fine lustrous glassy specimen of twinned Cerussite crystals from Tsumeb mine, Namibia displaying what is known as the 'snowflake' habit. The twinned Cerussite crystal is quite chunky (2.1 cm thick) relative to its height (3.9 cm) making it very robust compared to some Tsumeb Cerussites. The crystals are nicely formed, with rounded undamaged terminations. The Cerussite is translucent white to colourless, with minor areas of Galena matrix. A Tsumeb mine classic with great shape.
