Gemmy to translucent, cubic, blackberry purple Fluorite crystals measuring to 6 mm are richly intergrown over light biscuit tan Calcite crystals with later octahedral and rare cubic micro-crystals of Pyrite. The reverse of the specimen displays abundantly intergrown, colourless to grey-blue, well-formed crystals of Fluorapatite, each typically around 4 mm long, varying from transparent to translucent. This lovely miniature is from Ehrenfriedersdorf in Saxony, Germany.
