Bright metallic silvery grey crystals of Skutterudite, variety Smaltite, are densely intergrown and display many triangular faces. This small cabinet specimen is from Richelsdorf in Hesse, Germany, and is associated with minor white Calcite and pink Erythrite. Please note this specimen has been repaired and is reflected in the price. At some point, the entire specimen has been broken into two halves, about 3.5 cm in from the blunt end of the display face. Although the repaired break is visible from all sides, it was a clean break and the repair is probably as good as it could be. The repair is hardly visible on the display face.
