Excellent lustrous black prismatic crystals of Neptunite measuring to 1.8 cm long pleasingly contrast against the white Natrolite matrix. Rare scattered micro-crystals of brown Joaquinite-(Ce) are seen emerging from the Natrolite. In addition, very rare micro-bladed crystal groups of possible Orthojoaquinite-(Ce) occur in the Natrolite. A fine specimen from the California State Gem mine in San Benito County, California, USA.
