Tucson, Arizona, USASome of the world's finest pyromorphite specimens came from the oxide zone of the Les Farges mine at Ussel in Limousin, France. This rare and strange parallel grouping of toffee orange crystals makes a remarkably striking example which will stand out in any display. Composed entirely of Pyromorphite, the crystals form a natural cavity as if lining a large vug in one side of this cabinet specimen. The specimen takes on many different appearances when viewed from different directions, from a stalagmite and stalactite lined cave to an alien-like rib cage! In places the Pyromorphite grades to leaf green which adds a highly aesthetic contrast to what is already a remarkable and stunning specimen.
