Elbaite - Tourmaline with Quartz$400.00

From a new gem pocket found in the Coronel Murta district of Minas Gerais, Brazil, a charming miniature of bubble gum to coral-pink translucent flattened Elbaite Tourmaline crystals sprinkled with translucent milky-white Quartz crystals. The Elbaite, which measures 6.5 cm long, is primarily a highly flattened cluster of translucent crystals with terminations varying from Roman sword points to flat pinacoids. Occasional tips become a deeper and glassy gemmy pink. The Elbaite is striated parallel to its length. No repairs have been made to this specimen. A delightful Elbaite with milky-Quartz.
