A neat single crystal specimen of Scheelite measuring to 1.4cm with steeply bipyramidal habit, translucent to dark grey and a high lustre. Very characteristic for the Baia Sprie mining area in Romania on an intergrown matrix of creamy-white Dolomite and translucent white Quartz, with metallic yellow Pyrite.
