Thick and chunky broad unterminated crystals of Cerussite to 4 x 2 x 1.4 cm form an intergrown tangle coated with micro-spherical coal-black Goethite, with good lustre under magnification, but matt when viewed unaided. Across this, sparsely populated ribbons of small, mm-size, highly lustrous Cerussite crystals form mirror-bright points across the specimen. These Cerussite crystals are themselves internally clouded jet-black by Goethite inclusions.
