This large specimen is from the fabled Easter Pocket 8th level (1994) in the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Classic well formed tabular inter grown crystals of lustrous deep royal blue Azurite measuring to 1.2cm display mostly on edge from the Anglesite/Cerussite rich matrix, with a number of further Azurite crystals. In close association are clusters of tabular Azurite completely replaced by silky lustered shades of green Malachite, measuring to 6mm. The matrix is composed of inter grown translucent white-grey Anglesite/Cerussite, with light green Arsentsumebite.
