Description
An old-time specimen of colourless and glassy Fluorapophyllite-(K) from St. Andreaskreuz mine, a little east of St. Andreasberg in Lower Saxony, Germany. The crystals, which are typically 1 to 2 mm across, sometimes a little larger, are highly lustrous and coat both sides of a 1 to 2 mm thick plate of light grey matrix. Accompanying the specimen is an old printed and handwritten Freiberg label.
