A classic specimen of Hilton Mine Fluorite displaying a number of gemmy interpenetrant twins. The specimen probably came from the Dowscar Level which was developed to work a replacement orebody. The Fluorite crystals, measuring to 1cm, are very lustrous with a light amber colour. They have richly overgrown a light brown ferruginous Limestone matrix, and create an aesthetic gemmy display.
