Mounted on a clear acrylic base, a most choice specimen of velvety deep leaf-green Malachite with occasionally scattered, equally superb, deep electric-blue Azurite crystals to about 1.3 cm across. From the Milpillas copper mine at Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico, this mine began in 2006 and specimen collecting is now almost totally banned, hence few specimens appear on the market. A beautiful and highly aesthetic display specimen of Azurite on Malachite.
