This superb crystallized specimen of Azurite from Tsumeb mine, Namibia is of a significant size and quality that it is elevated well above what we usually see from this famous mine. Excellent sharp, well-formed crystals of rich royal blue Azurite are thickly intergrown on green Malachite. The individual crystals of Azurite reach up to 1.7 cm which is not exceptional for Tsumeb, but it is the sheer abundance of these highly visible blocky to bladed crystals, and their fine condition that stands this piece out. It presents an extremely fine display of Azurite from not only Tsumeb, but from any world-wide occurrence.
