A lovely rich specimen of micro-acicular Malachite forming a drusy emerald-green mat over an equally vivid coloured limonitic matrix. From the Lavrion Mining District on the Attica Peninsula of southern Greece, the matrix is amazing in itself for its incredibly earthy deep carmine-red and orange-ochre colours which act as imposing contrast to the velvet Malachite coating.
