A fine matrixless gemmy prismatic crystal of Elbaite measuring 6.8 cm tall with a well-formed termination possessing a cerise to light pink body colour and pink termination with a mint green zone some 1 cm below the termination. Two small, similarly coloured Elbaite crystals grow parallel from the base up to about a third of the way up the main crystal and classic vertical striations run up the entire length of the crystal. Excellent colour and internal brightness for the gem pegmatite region of Paprok in Afghanistan.
