A superb display of botryoidal, bubbly dark sooty-grey Native Arsenic developed on a colourless, transparent Quartz (var. Rock Crystal) crystal section from Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia. The Quartz prism measures a little over 4 cm long, with the Native Arsenic coating two of its six faces. Examined under a low magnification lens, the Arsenic has a warty texture of pimple-like spots dotted over its botryoidal curved surfaces. A lovely example of this native element from this classic Eastern European locality. Ex Horst Wolle Collection.
