Elbaite - Tourmaline with Lepidolite$1,250.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
A single prism of bi-coloured Elbaite Tourmaline with a little attached Lepidolite mica from the Pala Mining District in San Diego County, California, USA. Measuring 3.9 cm long by roughly 1.8 cm in cross section, this is a nice chunky type of crystals with a pinkish raspberry red prism and tart apple green termination. The green section is only 5 mm thick but give a marked punctuation to the Elbaite's aesthetic. The termination is that of several triclinic pyramidal habits over which is scatted millimetre sized rosettes of pale lilac Lepidolite. The prism base is cleaved with a slightly concave and conchoidal glassy surface.
