Strings of bright maroon Cuprite crystals of 2 to 4 mm and rosettes of deep emerald-green Malachite to 8 mm are richly scattered over a druse of snow-white Calcite crystals, formed over a core of Dolomite. In the Malachite has formed bow-tie sheaves which have a bright, glossy lustre. A typical and aesthetic combination of mineral species from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia.
