A classic cluster of sharply terminated bladed Baryte crystals in an open sub-parallel form, on a Dolomite matrix. From the Frizington Iron mining area in west Cumbria. Crystals of Baryte measure to 4.5cm, mostly showing double terminations. From gemmy colourless terminations, to frosted tinted blue central areas. Creamy Dolomite crystals are mostly covered by micro-crystals of 'nail-head' colourless Calcite. A neat Baryte crystal specimen from the Iron mining area.
