A super specimen from another classic French Fluorite source - The Beix mine in Auvergne. Hazy translucent blue, sharply defined cubes cluster together, resting in partitions. They are separated by thin wavy curtains of translucent drusy Quartz, each lightly dusted of varying intensity with iron oxides. For the most part the cube faces are lightly frosted with only small patches along the edges and corners of the crystals showing a higher lustre. A really curious and interesting specimen from a great location. Displays well.
