Pyrite from Tsumeb is not common and well crystallised specimens like this are exceedingly rare. The primary crystal measures approximately 3.0 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm and has many similar yet smaller dodecahedron crystals attached. All faces are striated and naturally etched and have a rose-gold patina with overtones of peacock-blue iridescence. A rare and fine example of well crystallised Pyrite from Tsumeb.
