A thumbnail specimen of the silver-copper-antimony-arsenic sulphosalt Polybasite, forming characteristic metallic silvery-black bladed crystals to 4 mm and distributed amongst what appears to be a brecciated Calcite matrix. A fine, well crystallised and well-priced example of this quite rare mineral from Guanajuato in Mun. de Guanajuato, Mexico, accompanied with an old handwritten Dr A Krantz (Bonn) label.
