An interesting specimen featuring a translucent Quartz matrix with an exposed vug in which a partial spray of blue Scorodite crystals measuring 7 x 7 mm sits alongside two groups of lustrous, muddy dark green, well-crystallised cubic crystals of Pharmacosiderite. Fibrous black Schorl Tourmaline is present throughout the granular Quartz matrix. This small cabinet specimen is from Hemerdon mine at Sparkwell in Devon, England. It is a rare occurrence for this locality to have this combination of Scorodite with Pharmacosiderite in a display-quality specimen.
