A superb gemmy slender prismatic crystal of Elbaite from the pegmatite-rich area of Paprok, Afghanistan. A single choice crystal of Elbaite Tourmaline measuring 7 cm tall, with a fine pale lime-green body colour and pastel pink three faced termination rises up from a matrix of part formed Elbaite crystals and pale pinkish Lepidolite. With strong backlighting this Elbaite looks magnificent. A wonderful specimen from the Jesse Fisher and Joan Kureczka Collection. No repairs.
