Les Farges mine near Ussel, Corrèze, Limousin, France is one of those localities where the crystal form of some specimens of Pyromorphite is so unique that they are instantly recognizable, but this is countered by the fact that there are also many other dramatically different colours and forms. This quite large display specimen is quite typical of Les Farges mine Pyromorphite, but not in the unique category. Almost organic in appearance, the green sprays of Pyromorphite crystals look like plant growth on the surface of a rusty matrix. There is no damage to the crystals and it displays very well.
