An unusual specimen of Malachite from the Tsumeb mine composed of intergrown 2 mm diameter spherules of a somewhat peppermint light green. Each sphere is formed from a radiating group of acicular Malachite fibres, the structure of which is seen where an odd sphere has been broken. The fibrous texture gives this specimen a velvety sheen. An interesting and attractive fibrous Malachite from Tsumeb.
