A sparkling druse of rich deep blue crystalised Azurite covers botryoidal, minutely banded green Malachite which itself has formed on a micro-layer of pearly lustred lath-like crystals of Tyrolite. From the Brixlegg-Schwaz Area of the Inn Valley in North Tyrol, Austria, the Malachite combined with the Tyrolite forms a highly unusual cellular structure, similar to that of a bath sponge. An excellent miniature Azurite with Malachite with a fascinating morphology.
