A rich specimen of dark emerald-green Chalcosiderite on iron-rich brecciated Quartz from Wheal Phoenix at Minions, Linkinhorne, Liskeard, Cornwall. The habit of the Chalcosiderite is different from typical specimens in that it has formed individual crystals scattered over the matrix surface. Normally these cluster together to form 1 to 2 mm rosettes forming a drusy surface. Comes with an A.E. Foote label in like-new condition.
