Crystal ClassicsFeatured
Tucson, Arizona, USAA classic Tsumeb specimen of extremely sharp, well-crystallized bladed monoclinic Azurite crystals entirely replaced, or pseudomorphed, by dark green velvety Malachite. The longest bladed crystal is 4.5 cm in length but is missing both ends, but from this shoots a cluster of several other perfect pseudomorphs, the longest to 2 cm in length. Despite not being terminated, the main crystal has one excellent bladed edge. A fine example of this well-known pseudomorph from Tsumeb mine.
